Regis and Kelly & the Tribeca Film Festival

Some days it sucks to be me but on the days when it's good...man oh man do I love being me. Despite my alarm not going off on
time, delaying my arrival at the studios that Regis and Kelly tape...I was on the standby line with other Ewan fans by 7:20 am. Unfortunately, none of us got in. But as always God works in mysterious ways. We stood on the side entrance and watched Ewan McGregor be driven up..he waved to us. We decided to wait..what the hell. I was already pumped by the lovely smile he had given us. He came out and signed autographs! I was 1 foot away from him. He looked BEAUTIFUL!! And his voice..my god. I was getting
serious pleasure out of seeing him stand there and signing.It was all rushed because the bodyguard was trying to get him to leave
and he did a bad job of not keeping away the dealers from Ewan. Sadly, I didn't get any closer or obtain an autograph because the dealers pushed me literally out of the way. One of the ladies I was with however, got his sig on a piece of paper and gave it to me. She's one of the loveliest people!! I wish those eBAy mogrels would just get thumped once! But hey I saw EWAN!! Heheh and thanks
to sweetness of another fan I have an autograph. However, God as always, makes it up to me. we notice another man coming in...
we're like hmmm who is that. We get closer...HOLY MOTHER OF GOD. It's HUGH JACKMAN!!!!!!!! Yes, God is good. So we rush
over and again with mongrel dealers but this time...I speak up and say "Hi hugh! Short women in the back would like to meet you
too." He looked up with locked eyes with me and told the men to please step aside. Seriously, it was like watching Moses part the
Red Sea. He came over and started talking to me. He kept signing things as he talked to me with his oh so lovely voice. I told him I didn't know he was in NYC [which is prob stupid to say] but he responded "Well here I am darling". Heheheh..he called me darling. I told him I was looking forward to seeing him on Broadway and he was like oh that's great. "I'll see you there sweetheart." Now I may have blackouted out but I'm being told he like patted my hand ...it's vague cause he just kept smiling and his voice..thud! He then say bye and went inside. I walked with the other girls in a daze. And then I went to work. Hehehehe...god this is just too great a day.
I'm on such a high. I was in Ewan's breathing space, gazed upon him and his smile ....and hehehehe I met Hugh Jackman.

Later that night I went to the Tribeca Film Festival to watch people on the red carpet. I was with other Ewan fans, one of whom had made a hysterical poster card to catch Ewan's eye. It worked when he arrived...we yelled his name so when he turned around he started to read it. He came closer to read it and then started to laugh hysterically. He came around and shook hands and said hello with the people in my group. Ewan came over to me and took my hand. We both said hi and just sort of gazed at each other. It was a nice interlude. *g* I just couldn't get over how gorgeous he was and my god his eyes are amazing. For those interested, he smelled great and his hands are warm and strong. LOL the moment was broken when this teenager leaped over and grabbed his hand from me
to tell him she loved him. He looked a bit startled but smiled at her then said bye to me and walked to the press that was about a foot away. We were separated by a thin black mesh...so when he stepped around I said "bye Ewan". I swear to god what he did next is absolutely true. I have witnesses!! He turned around, looked at me, pressed against the mess and started to flick his tongue in and out...back and forth. It was adorable and sexy at the same time. He smiled boyishly and waved bye. He joined his wife to meet the press and then went inside. It was so cool. I'm so giddy it's disgusting. More people arrived but Ewan made my night. For those interested...Bono came over too. :) Chazz Palmieteri, Victor Garber, Tate Diggs, and Renee among others also came over or waved
hi. Oh who am I kidding... I MET EWAN!!!! giggles and spins around the living room. It's so good to be me.....

So I went back to the Tribeca Film Festival and I was there at 3:30pm. I saw them setting up the background and stuff and when Michelle arrived, we tried to find a spot to stand. The people were being real bitches, and it wasn't a while after everyone else
(Claude, Kate, Barbara, Stefanie and Ingrid) arived that we insisted on them putting up baricades for the fans so that we could watch the stars come in. Michelle made the cutest sign ever. So we stood watching the stars come in and then Ewan arrived. We all screamed his name really loud and when he looked over, Michelle and Stefanie held up her sign. He stood there squinting and
reading it then laughed and came over. He was so close it killed me. I took some pics then just froze and stared at him. Eve was
there with him and when he went back to the carpet, he gave the brittish finger to the press, hehe then he totally turned his back on them, smiled at us and stuck his tongue out. It was the cutest thing! After that I almost passed out cuz I was hyperventilating again.
So after the excitement died down, we went to Applebees and I had the most delicious fried chicken salad. Claude, Kate, Barbara
and Stefanie had tickets to see the DWL premiere . They also got passes to the special party!

Anyways,I remembered that when I had tickets to see MR and there were empty seats, they let Liz in. So me and Michelle waited
and asked the people if they were letting anyone else in cuz not many people went to that theatre to see it. So they let us up and we got to see Down With Love!!!!!!!!!! Its the best movie ever! Its so cute! I loved it so much. All of us just sat there giggling and sqeaking and sighing through the whole thing. When the movie was over, there was a special music video type thing of Ewan and Renees song. It was so beautiful. I just sat there crying during the credits because I was thinking of just how wonderful my day was and how Ive never been so happy before in my whole entire life. I still cant believe I saw Ewan. Its just unreal. And I cant believe I actually saw DWL! Its so wonderful! I cant wait till it comes out in theatres cuz Im seriously gonna see it every day until I have no money left for anything
and I have to beg on the streets. Oh yeah! and on our way out of the theatre, we just grabbed a DWL poster and walked out, so now I have this beautifully large Ewan staring at me when I wake up On my way home, I must have looked like I was insane. I was just
sitting on the train staring at the poster with this maniacal grin on my face. I must say that dreams really do come true. It was a day from heaven. And I have to thank the sisters that I went with because without them, I dont think things wouldve turned out the way
they did. Especially cuz of Michelles poster, hehe. Im so glad I made new friends who I can share these things with.

I feel so great now. I will never forget a day like yesterday. Everything turned out so beautifully and Im so grateful that something like this would happen to someone like me. Im gonna stop now before I burst into more tears of happiness.
